Actuon for Business

Actuon is the motion technology COG builds its own simulators on. It is available to manufacturers, integrators and professional operators who need a motion control layer they do not have to develop themselves.

This is not retail with a discount attached. Standard products sold through our store are supplied for private, non-commercial use. Commercial use is governed by agreement, and what you get depends on what you are building.

Hardware Supply

For manufacturers and integrators using Actuon hardware commercially: Actuon8 motion controllers with the Actuon-SIB safety module, AX150-750 actuators and COG control wiring, supplied under a commercial use agreement.

The agreement covers the right to use our hardware in your product. It does not transfer internal protocol, firmware, SDK, source code or intellectual property.

Actuon Professional

The full COG professional stack: Actuon8, AX150-750, Actuon Control Manager Professional Edition, diagnostics, motion tuning, SDK and API access, reference projects, commissioning and professional support.

Professional Edition is where the depth of Actuon integration lives — System Check, Profiler, Budget Monitor, Kinetic Guard, 3D View, platform and hexapod providers, and hardware-level diagnostics that only exist because we build both sides of the interface.

OEM

For manufacturers integrating Actuon on a recurring basis: volume hardware supply, software licensing, runtime terms, lifecycle management, forecasting, support, NRE, integration work, minimum commitments and commercial agreements.

Custom Integration

For companies running their own software, proprietary simulators, middleware or specific applications. COG performs the integration work. The internal protocol is not handed over.

SDK and API

COG provides reference projects for Unreal Engine 5, Unity 6 and Godot. The API has been externally validated on real hardware, controlling live platforms.

Scope of supply

COG supplies control electronics, control wiring, actuators and software. Servo drives, servo motors, mechanical structure and host systems are not supplied by COG and carry no COG warranty or support. The Actuon control layer is validated for use with the AASD-15A servo drive, a single technical reference assembled by several suppliers.
